Along the way to greatness, Petard's hunter instincts compelled him to tame a beast of mighty Azeroth, to be his companion across the rivers, deserts, and plains of the world.
The first of the Wolf dynasty, Dikface was the epitome of wolf greatness. Dikface came from the harsh lands of Dun Niffelem in Storm Peaks, and had to fight for survival every day, until Petard came along. Petard saw Dikface across the ice hills, curled up on the side of a huge rock structure that was giving Dikface support. Petard approached, and was enthralled by this beast's strength and beauty. Petard knew he had to have him. He laid a haunch of ogre meat in front of Dikface, and the wolf cautiously approached, sniffing too see if each step was safe, and eventually devoured the treat. Petard let his defenses down, and allowed the wolf to advance upon him, subjecting himself to demeaning and inhumane things. After a 10 second cast, Dikface was now loyal to Petard, and so began the Wolf Dynasty.
